The Channel
One of the special features of The Entrance region is the channel.
The channel is the opening between the Tasman Sea and Tuggerah Lakes.
An exceptional location for fishing and prawning the channel is
also a great place for swimming and wading.
Many individuals have taken pleasure in swimming with the gentle
currents associated with the tide changes.
Fishing at the channel is probably the most popular activity with
the running waters often bringing in schools of fish. Blackfish are
also plentiful along the channel edge amongst the rocks.
The breathtaking view can be enjoyed from many vantage
points along the channel including the seating along the walkway.
You can spend many hours just sitting and enjoying
the ever changing scenery. |
