Our extensive range of watercraft for casual hire includes:
a large fleet of 4.0mtr maricat catamarans
aluminium runabouts - also known as 'tinnies' or fishing
boats
sit-on kayaks (canoes) - single, double & triple
pedal boats
sailboards
We cater for all ages and have a wide range of lifejackets
to suit young children through to ‘cuddly’ adults.
No experience is necessary and no licences are required
to hire any of our watercraft. Safety equipment and instructions
are provided by our friendly and professional staff for
all watercraft hire. We specialise in group, corporate
and party bookings. We also conduct sailing courses during
the warmer seasons and hold monthly regattas for those
who love to sail.
On-site facilities include: shop -
kiosk with tourist information, bait & tackle, fishing
licences, cappuccinos (freshly ground), tea, hot chocolate,
pies and sausage, rolls, chips, lollies, ice creams, cold
drinks etc.
Adjacent facilities include: foreshore
sandy beach area which is great for kids, undercover picnic
areas with free public BBQ’s,children’s playgrounds,expansive
grass areas,bike track extending 12km,public toilets and
showers
We are open:
Spring through to the end of Autumn - 9am till late – Friday to Monday
and all through the school holidays.
Winter – weekends and school holidays, when the weather is pleasant.

Children are always welcome but must be accompanied and supervised by an adult
at all times.
The Entrance Boathouse is located under The Entrance Bridge
on the NSW Central Coast at The Entrance.
The Entrance has been a major tourist attraction since 1885
and to this day, tens of thousands of people still come to
enjoy this serene coastal resort.
The Boathouse was built in 1927 to cater for the thousands
of people wanting to take advantage of the beautiful Tuggerah
Lake and to fish, prawn or just have fun in the sun.
We have all manner of watercraft available to hire as well
as everything you will need to go fishing. You do not require
a boat licence to hire our boats and we have fishing licences
available.
Watercraft for hire includes:

* open motor boats
* row boats (day or overnight hire)
* aquabikes
* canoes
The Boathouse has a comprehensive stock of everything you
will need to fish or prawn with including bait.
Our kiosk has drinks and food and for visitors interested
in memorabilia, we have great souvenirs.

Where can you go - Boats
can be driven anywhere in the Brisbane Waters, however
the limit out to sea is Half Tide Rocks at Ettalong. Boat
hire is limited to daylight hours only.
Why not take the boat under the rip bridge, around St
Huberts Island and then go and have a fish and chips lunch
at Fisherman's Wharf Woy Woy. Then wander back to Andersons
at your leisure.
